Attempt to send a PM to a fellow frumer. PM remains in the Outbox and Not Sent. Why? Did I missed out something?

That means your intended recepient has not read your mail yet.

once the other guy see the msg, it will be shift to sent box, if he had not seen it yet. it will still be in the out box.

The advantage is you can still edit/delete the msg if he hasn't read it yet.

As a newbie, I also found this problem when I tried to send a PM to a mapper.

First, I looked at the Forum FAQ but could not find any help there.
Second, I did a search and found this topic.

I would like to suggest to Site Admin if it is possible to put topic into Forum FAQ since there is a section on PM in the FAQ and it may help other newbies.

Hi. Why does it always state that I have 2 new messages when I have read all of them already? I only have 5 messages in my inbox and all are marked as read. Can the forum admin please help me out here? thanx!

If it's still in Outbox, it's yet to be read by the recipient. You can still edit subject and contents of the PM.
