All HTC with winMobile OS can support GMXT. Make sure you buy the one with internal GPS receiver

bartmp2..

I think you need to lock this thread... so the users can at least use the head sitting on their shoulders and click on the link to go to the proper thread to post their question.

otherwise, we are going to have a messy forum again with unrelated threads mushrooming all over again.

If they keep it within the neutral zone of Newbie Lounge, that's fine..... contamintating other forums is a no no.

I'll try to reorganise Newbie Lounge for better indexing. I have taken a big bite of the GPS pie lately and now I need
to chew slowly. Your concern is understandable.

it is depend on device , brand , model etc ...
original garmin hardware have 10 digit ... n other manufacturer that use gmxt maybe have 9 , 8 or 7 digits ...
nothing to solve ... MSM 2009.3 can accept this ...
I have install this one my unit n \:D/

Heyy there.. I am not sure if this is this the right place to pop my question.. I've posted it on other thread but I don't seem to get any assistant yet.. Anyway here it is.

I am not sure if it's me being stupid or what, but I am unable to find any address by entering address with the Garmin XT.. I am using it with my Samsung i780.. Everything works fine, but I cannot search by address.. However I can search through cities.

Tell me if my steps are right.. I go to Where To (on the front page), click on Addresses Icon, choose Malaysia when they ask for the country address, when it comes to City, I can't seem to type Petaling Jaya or PJ.. It just won't search.. So when I press P there's only a few city in Johor and Kedah.. I even tried to enter Cheras and or Kuala Lumpur.. Tell me if I have installed anything wrong..

I am using the Garmin XT 5.00 with MalSing Maps V3.00.. My apologies to the moderators and developers as I downloaded my unlocked MalSing maps via a torrent site.. I know I should be contributing in this forum to gain access to locked maps via the codes. But I just do not understand how can I contribute without having the map.. Anyway I have been a member of MalSing for more than a year, but I only read as I do not own a GPS device, however now I do, but I am having some problems here.. I wonder if any kind souls are willing to help me?
