IMHO, if you want to maintain the Porsche image with everything fm factory, the best place to start asking is through your local Porsche distributor for assistance or Porsche direct. The PCM unit is a custom Head unit for Porsche and the CD that is required to run the navigation is costly option plus updates are slow to come through

Alternative is to opt for stand alone PNDs such as Garmin etc... Cheaper stand alone units are easier to use, can be updated with the latest roads map for free from MSM. Take for example the Garmin 3790T, a brand-new state-of-the-art gizmo packed with features which is slick, slim and very, very thin will do no discredit to the interior of the Porsche. :mrgreen:

It will be good if he can actually sit in to have a feel of the AIR inside..... just to see what can be done to resolve your problem... :mrgreen:
