It is already disabled. What I mean is the toll rate. It still shows up after my ERP Cost Savings thingy is disabled. For example whenever you calculate a route it gives you an estimate of the toll charges at the beginning of the calculation. After a while it will tell you toll rate will expire in 3...2....1... days etc.

I had this problem before and it seemed to fix itself over time after the toll rate expired but I remembered it took about 2 weeks to go away, any way to get rid of it now?

Garmin Asia is extremely slow in their response. Really upset with the customer support.

Does anyone know any way of rolling back to the previous City Navigator?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi all, I would like to consult u regarding Malaysia Map installation. I have try to google ard and read some threads in this forum, i tried the below but it's not working.

Can you give me some advice? thanks.

I bought Garmin nuvi 1490LMT from US and it has only US map now.

I registered my device to Garmin, but by default they only allow me to download US map. Then i go to malsingmap to download gmapsupp_v567.zip then unzip and copy to main unit memory by creating a new MAP folder. I unzip and copy theimg file inside. Then i turn on my GPS but it cant find my location :(

thanks so much!

Bro shamming, go buy a SD card, it is cheap.... create a sub folder/garmin in SD card.... put the MSM Garmin map file gmapsupp.img into this subfolder in the SD card.... go outside and get satellite lock ... I will assume you are back to Malaysia .. so you should see your location in Malaysia AFTER satellite lock

Ok thanks! Last question, is it recommended to have the sd card formatted into any specific format to get the best result?

Thanks!

Hello all,

I am using Kenwood Car navigation system. So it purely relied on SD card.

I was thinking the below solution, not sure it will worked. Please assist me, thanks.

1) Can i rename one of the map to gmapsupp1.img instead?

2) Is there any software that can combine both MFM and MSM into one gmapsupp.img

Use this map viewtopic.php?p=211205#p211205
Put it in SD card/garmin sub folder

Hi Sliverbeauty,

Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it.

Yeah, i try MSM 2014 NT v6.87 and it is working on my kenwood system. But i am not sure about the JCV, i do create a sub folder in /Garmin/JCV.

Back to my earlier question.

Currently, i am using two maps. One is MSM and the another is MFM.

Both map is named under gmapsupp.img, so i am wondering how should i rename filename in order to make it both working in my kenwood.
