Download our CNY edition ( V5.38 ) from our download thread here http://www.malsingmaps.com/forums/viewt ... 64#p196464

Unzip map file gmapsupp.img and copy to SD card/garmin directory.
If no SD card, use "ang-pow" money buy one

What and where did you put the map file gmapsupp.img :-?

If correct uncorrupted file was put in correct directory it should show up in MainMemory-Tools-System-Map-Mapinfo. You should "tic" only one active map.

Where is the Map directory created? Main Directory? SD Card?

What is the exact path?

i create the map folder in my computer, E drive, and just create the map folder in e drive.
After i downloaded gmapsupp_v538.zip from the link, i open my e drive and unzip it, it show gmapupp image file only.
What is the actual procedure to download all the singapore map in the garmin 1300?

Do yourself a favour by getting a microSD card as it is so cheap - 2GB for slightly below $10. If you install in internal memory, you run the risk of your device becoming an expensive paperweight if the map gets corrupted. If it happens in the card, just replace the card and the device will still work. Having said that, just create a Garmin folder in the card and install the file (gmapsupp.img) there and create a JCV sub folder and dump the JCV.product file in it. Disadavantage of naming it Garmin is that you can have only one map there and you cannot rename the file name but the plus point is that you can have the JCV sub folder there. On the other hand, if you want to store more than one map in the card, you name the folder as "Map" but the maps can be renamed to any name you want e.g. Singapore.img, mymap.img, etc.. You can have as many maps as your card capacity allows but the disadvantage is that you can't have the JCV sub folder in it. It doesn't work.
