I supposed you have aredi install Mapsource and able to see map on it.

Next you connect or sync your pda to your computer, plan your route with Mapsource, select "send to device" on the mapsource, you must have Gmxt running in your pda. Following the pop up screen and select what you want to send eg..waypoint,track...etc.

Check your pda for further instructions.

Done.

That work fine for pda wm6 and nokia phone, not sure about palm, you may want to go to smartphone section and check it out.

8-)

Hi Singawon;

Thanks for the info. But I still cant get the route into my Treo :-? :-?

I'am able to connect mapsource to my card reader which contains the GARMIN folder.
It actually create a folder called 'userdata' into the GARMIN folder with gpx files in it.

How to import / read the GPX file from the folder into the the MXT program ? :prayer: :prayer:

Thanks in advance

Do not take out your sd card, leave it in the treo, do a SYNC with your pc, run mapsource, from there, click transfer select what you want to do, then select what you want to transfer...waypoint,track,map or route.

You will need to run your GMXT when sending to treo.

Bro alt, i'm not a palm player but i supposed the process is similiar to Nokia sybiam phone which i used to play with but now i'm more to PDA with wm platform,so also learning through trial and errors.

Hopes that help.. \:D/

Hi,
I'm having similar problem to transfer my planned route from my Mapsource to my PDA (Que). The Routes check box is disabled, but the rest like Maps, Waypoints, Tracks check box are enabled.
Any idea?? :-k

You're very problematic :hair: .....already tell you it's a Period....which means Full Stop and you still asking for a way to transfer. ](*,)

The solution is very simple.... If your mapsource routing settings and Que settings are closely aligned....you just recreate the route in Que. That's all. All the sightseeings you want to do enroute you can do it in Que.

Pull the manual for Que out from the internet. Start reading to understand how to use Que to its fullest capability.
