Looking for a detailed map of Paris compatible with Garmin Nuvi 200W.

Also interested by other European countries.

Any suggestion outside the official Garmin maps?

thanks

Have you tried accessing TomTom's website? The English verison is

http://www.tomtom.com/products/maps/select.php

Hmmm.... \:D/ while looking up the link for you, it caused my GPS unit to be updated with yet again the version firmware and some more on sites and sounds as well...

Cruiser, I think he meant (free) Garmin compatible maps, and not the official ones. :$gone:

Just in case one decides to make a choice and go for the various options made available, here are the choices you can decide on...

Although my now defunct model i.e. GO 910 is not mentioned in this latest announcement, since the intro of the MapSharing in Nov 2007, all owners of the GO 910 were given the exclusive access to this feature... so, we were not totally driving with a defunct gadget....

TomTom Map Share is offered free of charge with the TomTom GO x20 (T), TomTom ONE XL (T)* product ranges and the TomTom ONE 3rd EDITION. TomTom GO x10 series, TomTom GO 700, TomTom GO 500, TomTom ONE XL and TomTom ONE 1st and 2nd EDITION devices are also compatible with TomTom's latest software.

* With map version 6.75 or higher

Thanks for the link to mapcenter.

Some mentions the TomTOm maps. Sorry for a very basic question, but are those compatible with the Garmin units, in particular Nuvi 200W / 250W?

Comparing Garmin and Tom Tom maps is akin to comparing Apples and Oranges.
