Any discount at Dalit Bay Golf Club, KK?

My group of 8 golfers is planning to golf at Dalit Bay, Kota Kinabalu (Shangri-la Rasa Ria) and has been quoted RM360 per pax (green fees, buggy and insurance). This happens to be their published rate and I have been told there is no discount package. This is odd as most courses seldom charge at full published rate. Anyone can help my group get a discount? RM360 just seems too much to pay for a round of golf! Thanks.

I thought most of the clubs had a "Reciprocate Rate" for members of other golf club ?

Yes, for Golf Graha Club and Awana Genting Highlands Club members only and max 3 guests only

Nowadays the reciprocal arrangements between clubs, particularly the newer resort type, are getting less and less.

I just found out today that the rate at Dalit Bay is RM130 for Malaysians, but RM360 for foreigners, including Singaporeans! They should, at the minimum, accord a large discount for citizens from neighbouring countries. Not very neighbourly! There is only 1 Malaysian in our group of 8 golfers - lucky me!
