Where to stay in PJ

#1 Post by taipan » Sat Oct 13, 2012 11:39 am

I have been off the radar screen for the past 2 years due to other interest and travelling. Now back and got myself a new Nuvi 2565LM. Planning to take a drive up North to KL for golfing. Haven't there for quite a while now and I'm sure the Nuvi with MSM will get me to where I want to go. Since not being there for a long while now, especially staying overnight, I need some help from locals as to where to stay. PJ/mid valley are would be best as I will golf at KLGCC, Tropicana & Glenmarie golf clubs. Any hotel around 200-250RM would be nice and preferable easy access to good local food and a little shopping in the evening.

Thank you bro & sis.

Welcome back Taipan :) and I can think instantaneously of one frequent visitor to KL & surroundings who might know which lodging to recommend you, MoeyHC.

Cititel Mid Valley should be a good place to stay. The accomodation not that expensive plus dining and shopping is just a walking distance.

You may also check the Summit Hotel USJ. The price might a bit higher but for normal room, usually not more than RM300.

Thank you all for the recommendations. Mid Valley seems to be the most convenient. I managed to book into the Boulevard Hotel for just over 300Myr. Now just need to let the Nuvi take me there and to enjoy the golf and especially the food.
