Most obvious difference is the size of it. 110 is smaller and slimmer compared to 80, which I suspect also exposes the 110 to temperature interference in readings. Many reviews says 80 is still the most reliable of the Protrek lot.

Other than that, as far as I know 110 are newer models, and it has bearing memory, which I think 80 doesn't. Correct me if I am wrong.

the Suunto Core would be 1.2k to 1.5k and you could get in Wan Utama (the old wing). this was pricing in 1H08.

i got mine some time ago and there was some fault with the barometer and the shop replace my watch.

I have 16 years old, Seiko AutoQuartz (7M12) and ... surprise, just bought a new Tissot T-Touch Polished Titanium (T33.7.888.92) from Amazon. Another surprise, I bought it around RM 1800. Yet another surprise, I bought it, BEFORE stumble with those horror stories :) Anyhow, I wear it as a dress watch, and very careful with water and sweat :)

Here is my short review.

Good compass accuracy. Below is a not so good picture showing (lack of depth focusing) of my T-Touch with bearing 293 degree at 12 o'clock pointing to Mecca/Qiblat. For comparison, at the back ground, we can see my handphone Motorola V3xx running J2ME program called Compass. http://www.qcontinuum.org/compass/index.htm ; which I set the destination pointing to Mecca. See and judge by yourself.

Good Touch: Yes! Touch means TOUCH. Even with very light touch, the Touch functionality operates flawlessly.

Good Time keeping : I synced the watch 3 weeks ago with NTP (ntp.jaring.my). and right now, still ON THE DOT. Even my Lenovo Thinkpad's clock is drifting 1 sec/day.

Good Looking: I am not expectng the watch is very shiny, shinier than my 10 year old silver engagement ring. I can wear it to work, official meeting, kenduri kahwin, formal function, ... and suit to all my dressing criteria. A nice overall watch.

It is very lightweight compared to it's size. I have tried my friend's Stanless Steel T-Touch... and the weight ..... mmm.. and I suggest anyone want to have T-Touch, please consider titanium version. It also have PVD (coating) which helps minimizing scratch to it's clasp, band and case. After a month wearing it, I barely notice any scratch at this moment.

Good altimeter/barometer accuracy. I have compared the altimeter with google earth and my friend's nuvi 310, and the accuracy is not bad at all. With the watch I can predict weather, and the prediction is not bad too.

Eventhough I heard lots of complaints and horror stories about T-Touch, but the are many good stories about it.
1) A user claimed his T-Touch battery life is 5 years.
2) A user claimed he swam with his T-Touch and still in good condition.

Overall, it is a nice watch. There is no such watch with 3 sensors, with ANALOGUE interface, and match with any dressing criteria, except Tissot T-Touch.

I am a happy owner of T-Touch, (at this moment :)).

BTW. This is my dream watch. I only can admire it.

Seiko Spring Drive Spacewalk.
