Anyone know firsthand how effective is the poison from the Ipoh tree. Asli claims it can drop a wild boar but I've hunted with them and after a couple of hits on a small wild boar it still ran away. Several hours of tracking for the wild boar, they came home empty handed. Not good if you are famished !

Plenty of excuses were given, as usual.

I doubt it. But than, when there is good money to be made, I am sure there would be suppliers.

You best bet would be the Users i.e the Orang Asli or the Penans in Sarawak and maybe the Muruts in Sabah.

Never tried it and have never seen it in action. But looking at how healthy the Penans are in Sarawak jungle, I am sure it is effective.

Hehe You want to go hunting ah?

I dont see any poison darts being sold at the souvenir shops. I suppose if the is a request, the shop keeper will obligue.

I have seen the Penan hunters in the Baram Region of Sarawak carrying them many many years ago.

Hi Guys,

I thought it was a joke for a while. Do you mean that the poison could be found ?

Cheers.
