Sg Lepok Waterfall Hiking Trip

#42 Post by cwyap » Wed Apr 30, 2008 8:19 pm

Yup, topoguy. Everything's confirmed and set to go.

See you tomorrow 8am @ the rendezvous site #1.

If you have Motorola FRS/GMRS walkie-talkie, bring one along. We are using these for communication while driving and along the trail (point man and sweeper will be having them). Set to open channel 2 without sub-channel.

Let's hope the good weather holds up. If it is sorching hot, it'll be fantastic!! =D>

Wonder if the chempedak, pulasan, manggis & durian are available for us to makan.

Cheers.

Topoguy & I went with my friends and their pals to Sg Lepok this morning. We had a great time sweating it out - good way to detoxify and clean ourselves of the toxin in our bodies

For those who are interested to see our trip on photos, you can do so at:-

Sg Lepok used to be a very nice place. But now due to it being well known, too many people go there and spoil the place. We practice taking out everything we take in but a majority are pure assholes (to say the very least) who conveniently dump their rubbish there. The last we went there, we saw plastic wrappers, styrofoam packs and other sort of man-made rubbish. Sad.

This place is looking very difficult to climb. If I go there I will prepare for this.
