Could you take a photo of the hook used? Some members have never seen the hook before.

Re: Prawn fishing with siisuong
I have done prawn fishing in Sg before, so I know the size. This kind of hook for prawn fishing is very small but from your pic, it looks like an ordinary hook for normal fishing. Perhaps, you should put a ruler next to the hook before you take the pic. This way, people can see the actual size of the hook even if you increase the size of the picture.siisuong wrote:Bro Bern,

Re: Prawn fishing with siisuong
That was what went through my mind when I saw the hook. Now you have explained that it is small I understand clearly although I could never imagine a prawn getting hooked in the mouth like a fish. Have to see for myself one day. Thanks.Redstorm wrote:I have done prawn fishing in Sg before, so I know the size. Re: Prawn fishing with siisuong
If you're observance enough you'll notice the price tag is shown together with the hooks... This is a standard label and should give a rough indication of the hook size....
It is best to use a Caliper if you want precision, digital preferred....
just kidding....cheers
