Thanks, that works!
So, my next question. :-?

I spend most of the time in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. But I also spend two months a year in Europe. Where would I put the map for Europe.

Actually maps can be combined into a single Garmin IMG map file. However, if Garmin IMG map filenames are still available in device/data card, you can use that for other maps. Recognizable Garmin IMG map filenames in Oregon's memory are GMAPSUPP.IMG and GMAPPROM.IMG (not sure if GMAPPROM1.IMG works, as in Nuvi models). In data card only GMAPSUPP.IMG is useable. So, if GMAPPROM.IMG is not yet used, have the Europe map named GMAPPROM.IMG. But if it's too big to reside in the internal memory, you need to use it in data card or combine with the maps in data card (since only one Garmin IMG map filename can be used). You can do this using GMapTool.

So, I can change the name of an .img file whem I want?
Or, do I just move the in and out of the main memory?
Example:
Say the Europe (free with Oregon, NR) is called "GMAPPROM.IMG". Can I move it to the microSD in a folder EURONR and replace it by Thailand English Routable? Just change the name to "GMAPPROM.IMG"?

Yes and no. Europe map's unlock code is based on Oregon Unit ID. No matter if it's used in internal memory or data card (as long as data card is used in same Oregon), the unlock code still works. However, I believe Thailand map's unlock code is based on data card ID, the code would not work if used in the internal memory. As for the names, any map can use any name recognizable by Oregon, but if there is UNL file used, it must be renamed too.

Beautifully implemented! Just make sure you have had your memory card formatted to FAT32.
