What kind of waypoints and tracks and from where is your source of waypoints and tracks?

The reason why I asked what kind of waypoints you have is to establish whether they are .gdb or .gpx or .gpi files as the ways to transfer the different files are different.

If for example you have .gdb files. then as Bro wblee suggested, you can try to transfer with MapSource or Basecamp.

.gpx files are universal exchange files format.. for inter-transfer between GPS devices.

.gdb files are Garmin's proprietary database files

Mapsource can load either GDB or GPX route files and save a route to either GDB or GPX format files.
By default, Garmin MapSource save routes created on a PC in .gdb format but you can also save them in .gpx format if you want to share them.
Both files can contain routing information and user created "waypoints" which are detailed markers for POI you might want to save. They can also contain "via points" which are Garmin map specific route markers that only have location data and are only used for routing.
