Does anyone know what GPS chipset is nokia using for the respective models? Especially the N95 8GB & N78.

Bro ajay,

If you are referring to the Nokia hand phone the USB connector does not charge the phone. It is only for data transfer. Nokia std or mini-USB are basically the same type of cables... hope this helps.

There is a way for GMXT to use the internal GPS on E71, just that it's not legal and available for discussion.
You'll know if you go through the other Nokia related threads.

I just bought the E66 and got it working with GMXT , internal GPS and Malsingmaps v2.15. It is excellent! Just luv everything in one device.

Would luv to see the locked ver of Malsingmaps working on it too.

not exactly a good idea to pm people asking how to use the locked version of malsing on your setup.

it isn't that difficult to contribute to malsing right?

nokia standard (the mini one) for charging.
micro-usb for data transfer.
