Nokia 6210 Classic

Dear all,

I have not much idea configuring the technology. Please kindly help. How can I have malsingmap on my Nokia 6210 Classic? Possibily without purchasing extra device?

6210 doesn't have GPS built in...you'll have to purchase a gps receiver no matter what.

Looking at specs, it also does not have bluetooth so save your money and don't buy a bluetooth GPS puck. Better to upgrade to a phone with bluetooth or one with built in GPS

I think TS means 6120 classic & not 6210 :-k :-k If it is 6120 classic, I'm using this now as my 3.5G modem + pairing it wth a 2nd hand Holux GPS Slim240 running ONLY Nokia Maps! ...U need 3/3.5G connection to run Nokia maps & the pairing is very simple & almost instant. The problem wth Nokia maps is u need to subscribe for the Voice navigation which cost me RM37/mth!! :$gone: :$gone: :ko: ](*,) ](*,) ...Anyway navigation is accurate except for those areas without latest maps (KL Putrajaya Highway or Melaka AMJ highway) or maps which are not updated at all such as Taiping....haha shown it to Dynamix & Doraemon last week.... :rokz:

Here is the spec of Nokia 6120..touted as the smallest & cheapest symbian phone...AP phone selling as low as RM730 2 weeks before CNY :shock:

stimix, you use same config as mine, except that I use older 236. Yes, good enough for me. :mrgreen:

Whoaa...Din know I was buying the same spec phone as u... :shock: Anyway this small symbian phone is awesome...it is as good as a PDA except no touch screen.. \:D/ ..furthermore running speed although rated at~320mhz actually outperfored the speed of my Asus 520mhz PDA! :shock: ..Problem is, I still can't configure the phone to use the trial verison of Mapking symbian as it's for N95/6110!!! ](*,) ](*,) )....Wondering same Symbian S60 V3 but yet can't run similar symbian N95/6110 :-k :-k )

Y'know, when streamyx really sucks, I just plugged in this phone to my laptop and it becomes a 3.5G modem right away - fast but latency is irritating sometimes. :mrgreen:

I have the latest Nokia 6210 smartphone (organiser, adobe, word, excel) -on the box is Nokia 6210 classic.

So...what do I need to do to get a navigation facilities on my hp?

Will I need to purchase garmin 10x? Or someone mentioned nokia external device?

Please help. Thank you

Huh..u really confuse so many ppl here..There is no such thing as 6210 classic unless u mean 6210 navigator as here:

But this 6210 I dun think is available here.. :-k :-k U probably refering to the same phone that I hv Nokia 6120 Classic & not 6210 Navigator ](*,) ](*,) :-k :-k

6120 dun hv any GPS and u need an ext GPS as what Naim & me did..pair wth a BT ext GPSr...Too bad, right now the only software is using Nokia Maps/ Nav4all. I still fail to load Mapking & Garmin XT...which means this model cannot use the maps here!!!!
