Just to let everyone know that thanks to information available in MSM plus all the tips from the internet, I managed to get my E71 to run Garmin Mobile XT. Now I have voice navigation on a little mobile phone. Passed by Nokia outlet at Parkway Parade yesterday and couldn't resist their offer of their E72 with freebies and cash rebates. The E72 has built in compass which makes turn by turn navigation on foot easier. The unit's integrated GPS still sucks for both models. Ordered a Holux bluetooth GPS from China. I am not sure if the bluetooths pair well so its another $75.00 investment to find out. James.

the voice u downloaded may not be compatible with gmxt but nuvis, so u cannot use it

but u can try to rename ur downloaded voice to whichever voice that already in ur voice folder, eg <download voice>.vpm to English_American_.vpm later choose English_American_.vpm as ur default voice (be sure to backup ur English_American_.vpm first)

By the way I a question on the search function on how I search street
address because I when I view detail map I can see the street address
but not able to search it....

For example I am searching for this particular
address Jalan 2/9d bandar baru selayang, 68100 batu caves selangor.

Appreciate little help and guide and thanks in advance.

Fyi, there's some known issues on MSM NT 2010.20 with GMXT. It's better to use the cGPSmapper version instead. Please download from here.

As for address search, for your case, touch Where To? -> Address -> Check Country = Malaysia and Search All -> Don't enter anything for House Number and select Done -> Enter "Jalan 2/9d" for Street.

Hi all, currently i'm using GMXT v5.00.50, what is the latest version of GMXT for S60v5?? i'm planning to update my GMXT as it's going to take a long time before getting signal lately and it's bother me when i have to turn on my GMXT 5 minute earlier before driving/riding...my phone is SE Satio and i just upgrade my firmwire to the latest version..anybody care to share???

GMXT v5.00.50 is the last version that was released by Garmin for symbian phone.

anyone can tell me where can i download the latest map for garmin mobile XT?
