Hi bro wormyx, lets start by advising did you buy Garmin Mobile XT available in uSD card ? It should be plug and play unless your phone is low on memory?

Bro, you need to get Symbian version for your Nokia.

FYI, Garmin has discontinued the sales of GMXT thus you have to search stock availability with respective Garmin reseller.

My understanding with Nokia E72 has much less RAM so if you have too many applications loaded, will cause problem with GMXT

Disable all non essential applicationa like AGPS/emails/screen saver/antivirus etc.... to get more memory to run GMXT

i did every way that is possible but still crashes..

You have to maximize the free memory in your phone .... the more the better :-'

i think might found a away to avoid the application from crashing on the e72..
all u have to do is disable the voice function and on the map/navigating press (3) to zoom in..press (3) till you can't zoom in anymore..
well it works for me been trying hours disable/enabling few settings...
try n comment down guys...

Hi all,

Just install Garmin XT in my Nokia E72. I noticed that some times when I search for address in "where to" field, I can't key in the correct number or alphabet. e.g. when I want to key in '7', it just comes out as 'v'. Anyone experience this before? how to solve it?

Garmin Mobile XT for Nokia E72, SOLVE!

How....Just install version 5.00.60s60.9 (version .60)

before that...run software update on your NOKIA E72....firmware or ++++ (on nokia hardware/software)
(my Nokia E72, software version is 031.023 dated 31 mar 2010)

and now...My Garmin XT run smoothly and no error/crash.

solve!
