Now you should download the new map ver 4.02 and I prefer to use the MSM NT over the City Navigator cos the alley in my multi-storey is more correct in the MSM NT than the City Navigator map.
P/S : Provide Speed Limit & Exact Coordinates for SpeedTraps & Traffic Cam Alerts, thanks

Brothers that own 760, y do I get this display

minus the MSM logo (which I find it amusement  ) instead of below?

Izzit because I'm using simulation or it's not applicable in 760? I've follow the instruction well.. download V 2.40, and update the SgMyMal_2009_3B_v2 & also SgMyTA_2009_04_v2. Also got 'Can't Unlock Map' but the JVC flows well.

Please enlighten me brother... :tq:

MSM button not displayed ?
This means your SgMy TA only active n your MSM NT 2009.3B is locked
Please try to re installed the MSM map until the Cant unlock message not appear
Please get the proper unlock code by reading thru the instruction carefully

Bad Update from Garmin!

#379 Post by Flyingwriter » Sat May 16, 2009 1:40 pm

Hey guys,

I just downloaded and installed software update version 4.80 from Garmin for my NUVI 760, just released. Unfortunately, it corrupted all my routes. I would stay clear of this update for now.

Thanks sifu mnd_43 for helping me. After reinstalling, I've relialise that I dont have any problem dload NT 2009.3B. The MSM icon is just a minor problem bcoz I've also having Indonesia Navnet in my Nuvi. Just untick the Indo map and the MSM icon appears back.

However, the problems accur after installing the SgMy TA. I get the Can't Unlock Maps notice. However the JVC and exit info running fine accept that i cant get the turning sign. Am I missing something here? And what the differences between software version 4.80 (from garmin.com) and SGv2.4 (from garmin sg)?

Still trying to install and uninstall again.
