Updates:
Last night I u pdated gps module, GTM and Proximity alert using webupdater. Restarting issues seem to be gone. I need more testing. Webj;dater is your friend :)

But, there is still a small problem. Media player will forward/skip to the next song, when it's alerting near proximity alerts, example speed camera, police ambush .... Anybody ?

Bro Bahathir,
:-k Havent tried the media player during navigation yet with this 7X5T, but experienced exactly the same problem with my 760 previously. If so, it seems they have not solved that yet even with the new series? #-o

Hi Bahathir, I trying to update using WebUpdater. May I confirm that the correct updates are :

- Firmware Update for GTMxx Traffic Receiver (latest version 5.30)
- Text, Proximity Alerts, All languages (when I click this, it says "No change history was found for this update")

could you confirm if the above is correct? Thanks!

just click/check those things. those things are the newer version than what are in your device, eventhough no info displayed in the webupdater.

I'm still deciding whether to get the 255W or 755T.

My questions:

1) Does the 255W has the predictive speed in tunnels? Means it estimate your car location in the tunnel.
2) Is the refresh rate between the two models the same? or is the 755T faster?
3) Does the 755T redraw the map faster than the 255W?

Ok, I just back from several trips, and SAD to say that, 7x5T did not able to tracking in 600 meters or more tunnels. The tunnels which 7x5T able to track without 'satellite signal lost' error is Penchala Link and tunnel near Jelapang at North South Highway. Other than that, such as SMART tunnel and Karak Highway tunnel, 7x5T showed "Lost Satellite signal" dialog after around 1 km. inside the tunnel.

TQ

Hi,

[-o< Not sure if anyone can help me... I just got a new 765T and copied jerome wee's IMG and UNL files (newly generated for 765T) to the Garmin folder. However I got the "Cannot unlock maps" error. So I'm pretty much stuck now...

I tried using SD card, but still with the same error message... Anyone can help ? [-o<
