Hi Silverbeauty,

How can I ascertain it is from the ball joint of the mount?

I am only speculating where the noise can come from. You need to do some deductive analysis.

You mentioned in your earlier post when I adjust the Nuvi 765 position on the fiction mount, the cracking sound might disappear. Remove the ball mount and investigate. It is mechanical so your personal inspection is required.

The other thing could be a bad electrical contact to speaker ? This requires some skill and know-how of removal of nuvi covers to investigate

I just watched the video on Nuvi765 above. Is it true the BM translation of 'Volume' is "Isipadu" ? If so, someone really didn't do their job! [-X Isipadu is related to volume/quantity of something (ie. liters)(Dari Wikipedia Bahasa Melayu, ensiklopedia bebas. Isi padu ialah kuantiti untuk ruang yang diisi.). Isipadu has NOTHING to do with sound. Whoever asked DBP to do the translation, did not mention the context of the words to be translated   .

In Mathematic ... Volume ( l x h x w ) = Isipadu ( l x h x w )
In GPS they should not use this direct translation ...
some more e.g. ... keep left = simpan kiri  ... it should be something like ikut kiri

dont know who did this ... but better have a BM teacher to assist !

Years ago, I saw an scifi movie in RTM, the actor try to gain access to computer and the computer screen says "Access Denied!"

Do you know what's the BM subtitle translation..............it is

"SXD9!"

... not long ago in Discovery Channel - Astro

flight simulator = perangsang penerbangan...

maybe the person in-charge dont know the difference between simulator n stimulator !

now the translation for flight simulator is correct already ... !

 ... does nuvi 765T have a 'gigi biru' function ?

Battery was fully charged,
same simulation mode from Singapore to penang,
Battery can last for 3 hours 25 mins only.

I checked garmin site spec,
Nuvi 765 battery life up to 3 hours, but mine only 2 hours 17 mins :hair:

Maybe their spec is based on Brightness and Volume in 0%.

Anyway, "up to" means "will not exceed". So technically, they are not wrong. :-#
