Touching the screen to manually mark the location do work in a way but what if u let's say u r currently at home and u r trying to locate a location, say "sunway carnival mall", u go to [Where to?] > [Spell Name] > key in "sunway carnival" and the list appears........now, what is the simplest method to get the exact coordinate of "sunway carnival mall" without simulating?
OK... continue with these steps:
"touch" the Sunway Carnival Mall from the list,
"touch" Show Map
when the next screen appears..

Bro....the 3xx series don't have the ]"touch" Set Loc. option after show map la...

"touch" Set Loc.
then "touch" Back a few times till u see Coordinate icon
"touch" the Coordinate icon...
it reads N5 23.925 E100 23.875

Good luck...[/quote]

Brother, don't be ](*,) , probably you set can do the same after upgrading the firmware. may be nuvi600 series that came with earlier firmware also cannot... if u read earlier thread those nuvi600-series must be set to 'simulation' first, new one with latest firmware no need to do that maa... O:)

Bro unclediy, when I first started this thread, I did the steps on simulation mode but later I discovered that u can skip this simulation mode. Anyway, my 660 is still using the old firmware and am sure even with the latest firmware, u still can do so without having to put it on simulation mode first.

I think u r rite brader...,

hey... I though our nuvi600 series cannot be used in plane. I tried in my flight to and fro KK, here is one of the screen shots.

Image
besides sat. strength it also tells the
1. Plane ground speed
2. altitude [12,588m]
3. latitude and longitude
4. sun and moon relative position
