Bailey, I think why don't you change the navigation from automotive to pedestrian. That way, you may save the POIs off-road. I noticed this when I try to 'jalan-jalan' with the unit and the same time, save the nearest POI from my current location.

But I will test it more this weekend...

Will try Bro Mijan, but I doubt. Let's see how it goes this weekends and I will feedback next week. Thx.

After connected Nuvi 2465 to the pc, at 'My Computer' I cann't find 'Garmi nuvi' icon and it just show me 2 same icons that is 'Removable Disk'. As I know it should show me 'Removable Disk' and 'Garmin nuvi' so that I can read the data inside. Any sifu can help? :prayer:

How to do calibration on Nuvi 2465?

Thanks in advance. :tq:

Hi Bro Jimmy,
When you connect your Nuvi to your PC, your Nuvi should prompt you Garmin Mode or Mass Storage Mode. By choosing Garmin Mode, you are charging your Nuvi via your PC. If you choose Mass Storage Mode, you should be able to read your Nuvi directory including the SD card if you have one.

Considering getting either the 2465 or the 1460. Can any of the gurus advise which is a better buy?

I noticed you have a Nuvi 1450 already hence, its either moving further upwards to the 2465 or better still, consider the 3790 which is currently the best model to have for all the right reasons to move about with? :prayer:

I sold my 1450 and got a new 2465!

The bluetooth function is really useful and so far I like this unit much more than my old 1450. Satellite lock-on is faster as well.

However, the 2465 does not feel as well built and as solid as the 1xxx series.

Just to clarify with the bros who have gotten the 2465, when it is charging via usb, the screen indicates "charging battery" and the screen goes black after a while. Is this normal? In the 1450, it used to indicate "charging battery" all the way till it was "charging complete"
