Hi. I realized that my 3790 stop showing junction/lane view (with the half display) for the last few weeks. I remember earlier (bought it in March 2011) driving through KL & it showed the signboards, etc. now it just shows the small lane indicator (left most lane, middle lane, etc.) at the side & bottom of the display. any setting i should check to re-activate the junction/lane view function?

I can remember that I have updated the official map last Nov.

When you updated official map, was the JCV file also updated ?
Garmin Map + JCV file work as a match pair. You cannot use a newer map file with previous version JCV file and vice versa.
This could be the cause of the non-function of the JCV file.

How can I check? When I updated the map, I followed the steps in Garmin autoupdate & assumed all shoud be in order.

Other than that, what does the Screenshot option do in settings? (Currently disabled).

Hi there,

I keep receiving messages on my 3790 that ask me to up the maps. But when I log into garmin.com.sg, there are no maps for me to update.

Can somone advise me? where do i get the latest maps?

Also, I maybe planning to go to Perth, Australia. Are there any free maps to download?

Does the 3790 has problems with V-kool ?
Seemed to be very difficult to lock into satellite signal when comparing to my old Nuvi 200.
Besides, I can't seem to update to the Garmin MSM NT latest map. Apparently my 3790 is not registered for lifetime map updates.
Anybody has similar experience?
