Wonder who will win the tussle in the car when the passenger wants to watch the telly and driver wants to use the GPS? Please don't say buy two.... :hair: Get the one without telly should solve the problem....

Other than the telly and the DR, everything else looks the same. :-k

Just about to buy 2465 this evening. Lucky for me that I open Garmin website to look for 1460 firmware. If this unit comes with 5" screen, then it's a good news for me to replace 1460. I really like 3790 GUI which almost the same as 2465.

The downside is, battery usage is shorter compared to 1460 based on Garmin website. ](*,)

Agreed...

I already have a DVR...so the DR is not so important. But I wonder if the track can be collected and downloaded? :-k

Bro Ace, rear camera -- useful ... Analog TV -- useless gadget. This is a GPS how to watch TV and navigate at same time :ko: Furthermore watching TV is a drain on the already bad life of Nuvi battery. Anyway this is my opinion .. :-'

Bro Silverbeauty, agreed the TV thing is a mad idea.... and with such a lousy battery life, it makes for a bad addon.

Rear camera....thinking about it.....Do we really have to depend on so much electronics or should we be training our judgement capability? I have reverse sensors which is already enough pain for my ear. Do I need a visual pain? :-k  I like to use the GPS gadget just for navigational purposes...

The front camera is interesting. Good for evidence of any accidents involving your car :-'

I like his comments.. Quote from his article "The nuvi 2575R also comes with a TV tuner as well, which I guess is so that you can watch your favorite sports team while driving. That doesn’t make much sense, but I suppose that the resulting accident could at least be caught on the nuvi dash cam." Unquote.
