What to do, sometimes the timing isn't right when you bought it. Having said this, there isn't a right time to buy anything. It's just like today you bought something only to realise tomorrow that the store or some other store is having a sales and offering the same product at the same price but with a 20% discount.kakabobo wrote:just to check 2565 not entitle for lifetime upgrade.

When connected to PC, cannot view any video recordings on SD card. But able to view the recordings in 2572 when it is connected to driving recorder. Anyone experience this before or have work around?
Try both on 4GB and 16GB SD card, same thing. Even installed Garmin GDRPCTool, also cannot view any files on SD card.

I do not have a 2565 but my experience with various in-car DVR is that video files are usually written onto SD card sub folder.
Suggest remove SD card and put in a PC / Lappy and do a directory search for the video files
Use a good 3rd party video player like VLC Video Player that reads many known formats to view video on your PC / Lappy

Connecting a GPS to a PC to view vidoes on the SD card may not be the best idea as the GPS will only be recognised as a USB 1.0 device so file transfer is much slower. It is better to connect the SD card through a card reader to the PC. Best is to copy the file to the PC before viewing. Of course the video files are in the GDR10 SD card and not the GPS SD card. For the Garmin GDRPCTool, you need to identify a folder in your PC which holds the video files. Moral of the story is, to get the best videos, copy them to your PC first.GCW wrote:When connected to PC, cannot view any video recordings on SD card.
