How to add waypoints in Mapsource to a Nuvi?

My 2455LMT cant be seen in Mapsource, so I cant transfer data to the Nuvi, and POI Loader is useless to try to add my .gdb waypoint file.

Im sorry to ask a question that might be old but I dont see any topics about this. I use the devices you see on the left and by now have a large collection of POIs I dont want to lose by moving to Nuvi now. Elsewhere on the web I read that through the Volume control one should find the Developer section of the firmware and change the setting of the Nuvi to Mass Storage. Is that the answer?

try

1. To make all of Nuvi files visible you must unhide protected files via Win7 like any other HD.
2. Start NUVI by itself and go to Volume Screen.
3. Press the upper right hand corner of screen for 10 seconds.
4. The Developers Screen will pop up
5. Scroll down to MTP SETTINGS
6. Change from AUTO DETECT to MASS STORAGE
7. Shut down NUVI and hookup to Computer USB cable
8. Start NUVI and it should recognize it is hooked up to the computer.
9. Explorer will now see all files in ROOT directory and the .System directories.

now use mapsource like normal :)

Thanks for that, Adrian. I held that info aside temporarily and got Basecamp which allowed me more or less what Mapsource does. But I still prefer Mapsource and may try your method.
