The Nuvi 200 - Part 2

#1 Post by derocg » Sat Aug 11, 2007 12:11 am

been using the nuvi200 for couple of days now...one week to be exact.
tested out TIBO and MIO before the nuvi... and both also tak boleh pakai ler...
TIBO very nice 3d interface with buildings and all but the processor sux...
tried scrolling (by dragging the map) at a very fast speed and suddenly it just hangs..

but sorry lah if i offended some tibo users..just my experience mah...

lets talk about nuvi...
1) it doesnt hang
2) I put in bangkok map into my old NOKIA memory card (and slot in to my Nuvi) A bit slow la. but still can use..again..it doesnt hang.
3) Nuvi 200 quite shiok la..but still dun have CHINESE LANGUAGE LER.....haishey...(but the british english voice chick makes me high...hahahah..i digg it..kekek)
4)Nuvi 200 very the small..can put into my pocket at my baju.
5) THE BALL TYPE mount stand (the stick on the windscreen thingy) very fast patah one..(thats what i feel lah..maybe becos of my king kong size..see everything small as fragile).
6) I Can be very action becos I got a Garmin GPS hehehe..some ppl also dunno what is that..kekeke
7) No need to use hand phone calculator...very small..use nuvi better. (but startup damn slow lah..kakaka)
9) sad part is that ......dun have a correct size for screen protector.

The best part is to show the girls GPS...(especially those girl hoh work in admin..not marketing divison ones, onli knows how to go to work and come back from work one.. and..by using onli one road)
I showed my nuvi to a couple of my admin chicks..ahem..friends... and they are impressed....WAH.. this thing can do this one ahhh??? wahh..can find nearest petrol station one ahh?? wahh.....know where got good foodd one ahh?? SINGAPORE MAP ALSO GOT AHH.??? WAHHHHH..........so swakoo(sam-pa in cantonese)..(first day i got my nuvi also very swakoo lah..akka)

kekekek
ok la...final word..
very proud i own a NUVI 200

and also THANKS MALSINGMAPS for the great HOOO HAHH WAHHH experience.

Not sure if that is exactly considered an upgrade. While 310 has a few more functions, the 2xx screen is supposedly much better.

If you search around the internet, there are side-by-side pictures that will show the difference. When set to the brightest, one is noticeably brighter, and can see at wider angles.

Cyberjaya=>Kepong/Sg Buloh - Does not want to use Elite/NKVE

#9 Post by johnliew » Tue Aug 14, 2007 12:33 am

Hi all,

Nuvi 200 user here. Using current unlocked malsingmap, firmware 2.90.

Source: EDS, Cyberjaya
Destination: Kepong or Sg. Buloh or Sri Damansara (either 3 location is more or less same route)
Want to use: Putrajaya Link => Elite => NKVE => Sg. Buloh toll exit
Instead: It always forces me to use LDP.... Puchong + Subang + Kelana Jaya at 5pm traffic? /pengsan

I tried using the Via Route to force it to use Putrajaya Link, but instead...it pusing me a whole round and landed me wrong direction! :ko:

Someone...pls help! I just want to go home....

Picture worth a thousand words here =>

p/s Shall I post this in map feedback? I scare is my feeble mind, not map problem.
