Man... I just got my Nuvi 610 last month and I feel it is so cascrated when it doesn't do tracklog... And now 700 series with tracklong just a month after purchase... I am soo on :fire: I can only hope they will provide a firmware update for Nuvi 610 that can do tracklog assuming that will ever come... or go get a secondary GPS with tracklog capabilities (e.g. handheld)...

Consider the Garmin Vista HCx as secondary GPS la.... small, long battery life, cheaper than Nuvi700

Actually, I am considering Vista HCx several weeks ago.... But I am not an outdoor kind of person (e.g. trekking).... My adventures are mostly in Klang Valley and the place that I visited are throughly mapped already. So my wish still doesn't really justify the cost... :$gone:

The cheapest HCx I can get locally is about RM1500. If imported, I can get about USD310 inc shipment. That is if I am assuming that the local customs doesn't want to 15% tax me and I don't have to apply import permit from Sirim. I have applied import permit from Sirim twice before and it is not something I would like to do again unless I am desperate enough.
