They have tracklog feature, not like 60Csx but like GMXT.

What is the difference between tracklog for 60Csx and GMXT? Is GMXT used by the Garmin 10x with compatible handphones? Is the 60Csx tracklog and Legend/Vista HCx tracklong the same since they are both handheld? Thanks.

Sorry, i thought TS already knows 60Csx tracklog features.

to be exact, you can define 1 sec constant tracklog recordings in 60CSx. This is the best tracklogs recordings that our mapper prefers.

For GMXT the best tracklog recordings is called Most Often.
In this mode the tracklog recording varies between 1sec to 1minute.

See trajet2b's explanation, both Zumo and GMXT has the limitation of having at best tracklog "most often" only, and cannot do tracklog "1sec". Your 60CSx can do tracklog "1sec" and tracklog "most often". You can try tracking using both settings and see the difference. Depending on what sort of tracking you want, the "most often" tracklog may be acceptable for your needs.

I don't use any GMXT but here's a small screenshot sample of a zumo tracklog. It's a very basic tracklog with seemingly random breadcrumbs so it's definitely not good for mapping but otherwise it serves its purpose well as a record of your trip. Also the Zumo tracks automatically everytime it's switched on. You do not have to set Tracking on or off like the 60CSx. It's on ALL the time but you can set the tracklog to Visible or Invisible on your screen altho on Visible mode after a week of running around the city your screen will show a mess of blue tracks all over the place!

Hope this helps.

just one more question... will I be able to record and store the individual tracklogs from different trips and later display them individually like the way it can be done on the 60CSx?

Yes, absolutely. I like the fact that the Zumo tracks automatically so I can just whip it off my bike at the end of a 3-day ride and everywhere the bike went is on it. I don't have to bother about digging into the menu to switch Tracking on or off like I do with the 60CSx.
