- Plug in the USB cable
- When it is in the Data mode unplug the USB cable
- Before the Nuvi reboot fully (~6-7 sec) plug in the USB cable again.
- The Nuvi should be power up and in navigation mode.

Hope this helps...Cheers!
Thanks for quick reply !

Your method works fine, but the disk removal warning pops up when i do it,will be harm the nuvi ?
Is there another way to boot it ?

Thanks.. really appreciate your help !
so far no problem...most of us been doing this way.....

if you really scare......why do you need to plug into the usb port?

Hi libra,

my nuvi only comes with the ciggy adaptor to charge it.
as i dun drive,i was told by the salesguy to charge it by plugging into my computer.

The display unit at the shop was plugged into power when i was playing with it,so i thought i can do the same with usb power too.

Cheers!

the usb charging is very slow...you may want to use a motorola charger......repeat the same......anyway all our answer can be found in some of the thread.....do a search first......

if you buy online is abt $350.....the shop has overhead to cover and provide local warranty...if you want cheaper then buy online yourself.......why dun go one step further....email the online shop to bargain for lower price........

OK got it, thanks a lot guys

got another question, my friend Garmin is Nuvi 200 (not W) and his one in about screen got INDONESIA word, and his software version is 3.20, although i searched that for Nuvi 200, the newest software update is 3.80 if im not wrong, i tried to help him update from webupdater, but it doesn't work, it said tat no update for this device.

I tried manual update by downloading 3.40.exe or sumtin, connected device to USB, progress went ok, when I disconnect the device, the version remain 3.20

is there any different with the device country, INDONESIA?

Which country that yo guys having for 200W ? which one is better?
