bro cubert_y, IMHO, Shortest distance is quite accurate, because it only depends on the geo-location of the roads whereas Fastest time - is much less accurate due to it depending on following factors
information in maps; road hierarchy type (residential, arterial, highway etc), specific road speed limits, lowered speed for regularly congested roads, etc.
information not in maps; slow down due to traffic lights (the symbols are only visual), different speed limits for off-peak versus peak hours, etc.
GPS calculates the time based on the speed limit of the road. It assumes you follow the speed limit at all times which is why they often calculate a much longer time than it actually takes.

The other thing to check is the "avoidance" section menu and see what items are selected / unselected ie... tolls, highways etc... as this has a effect on routing.

Thanks mnd_3. But I was referring to the "category names" not the favorites itself. Like where to / favorites / categories (All favorites, Auto Services, Community etc...etc...). How to rename or delete the categories like "Auto Services" to maybe "Auto Svs" (just an example). You see I've added/created my own category and how do I rename or delete it.

To rename a category u have to remove every single favourite under that category to a new category name

where to / favourites / select category / select favourite / edit / change categories / select current category or new > enter new category / done / select un select ...

U only can delete a category names if it is empty by un select it

hope this help ... just play around with this n u will be familliar wih all the functions ...

managed to load in the MSM NT 2009.3B and viola, its working! software version is 2.55b

still got the "can't unlock map" message at start-up. but i'll figure out how to overcome that later.

geezzz, i am 1 problem kid...... :ko:

thanks for all the advice!!! =D>
U have to download MSM NT 2009.3B not SgMy TA ...

mau I know your firmware ? tools/setting/system/about ...

FYI gps with firmware SgMy Software V2.50 only are entitle to use MSM NT 2009.3B
255W with older version of SgMy Software 2.XX must upgrade to V2.50
255W other than SgMy have to use MSM 2009.3
SgMy TA map are only for gps preloaded with SgMy TA V4 or later. If u dont have TA map please dont download this map !

What is that exactly? Is it add the commonly used destination into nuvi which you could simply tap the destination instead of searching for address everytime u need to go to the same place.

Does 255W has this?
This multiple routes is available only on certain higher end models like the 760, 765T, etc. No, the 255W doesn't have this feature. Essentially, it is very useful for ppl who want to plan their destination via certain routes to take. You need to input your starting point and ending point. In between, you can dictate which route you want to take to go to you destination. For me, when I recently went to Cameron Highland, with this multiple routes, I selected those routes I wanted to take and it helped me avoid going thru KL and getting caught in the jam.
