So you have the same problem like me before. If you want to track, either you can buy taiwan version, buy data logger plus receiver - mm-241 or handhelp trackking device - csx series

Bro exz8, you really need to go through our wiki for all this GPS talk ( technical and terminology ) so you can follow the members posts ... There is even a section devoted to GPS acronyms

data logger plus receiver - mm-241:He means stand alone GPS pucks that have ability to collect tracks ... mm241 is referring to Holux model m241. See link below for description : http://www.holux.com/JCore/en/products/ ... sp?pno=341

The Twn versn not only have Chinese characters Keyboard input, hav Japanese as wel.. So Twn versn is truly mor flexibly suited for mny regions, multi lingual maps, where else other non-Twn versn is stuck to Western world.. Iv tried copying Gtt & ExtData from a Twn Nuvi 200W to US versn, but it turns out the keyboard selection for Chinese & Japanese will be there but when selected, nothing happened, no Chinese or Japanese Keyboard appear. So, I guess both versn have it's own individuality & not simply as interchangeable as we wud wish. And i believe the same concept should apply to Nuvi 200 too, unless there's sum1 out there who's actually managed to flash the firmware & willing to step fwd to guide us..
Otherwise, the only option at this moment for those who want Language Input flexibilities,...sell off the Non-Twn, grab a Twn Versn..

My nuvi 200 shows the following and I am confused which version are you guys talking about :
Software Version 3.90
Unit ID : XXXXXXXXXX
Audio Version : 2.20
GPS SW Version : 2.60m

2.60 and 3.90 which is which

Do I need 4.1??

3.90 is your firmware version. Note that the 4.10 is only available via the WebUpdater. Only if your Nuvi is a US version, you may do so at the WebUpdater.

Thanks ...will dload webupdater to check my version first. It seems many have lost their tracking ability
after update.
