nothing much about v4.10 only update support for retail map into garmin unit.

alvin, you can only do tracking with the nuvi 200 with software version 3.4...any other version disables that feature. version 4.10 is the latest software update and it corrects compatibility issues with the garmin retail maps. hope this helps!

GPS: Nuvi 200 TW made US design Firmware v4.20
Hi,

My 1 week old nuvi 200 has the latest firmware 4.20 but do not know the enhancements.

Yes, mine is taiwan-made-us-designed. Strangely when i visited garmin tw site, the latest firmware is v4.00

I also read in the forum there are indonesian and us made. so I reckon there are taiwan, indonesian and us firmware versions as well. :hair:

Am i safe to say regardless of country of manufacture, I still go to http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/site/us for firmware updates?

actually, the best way and the way most people use is to use the webupdater program which can be downloaded from garmin.com. The program automatically searches and installs the latest firmware for your particular model. Downloading and installing firmware that is not suitable for your device can render it unusable. so, just stick to webupdater and you'll be allright.

What was the solution for the v3.40 tracking feature which does not make the Nuvi restart when trying to playback the tracks?
