You are very right Bro tks, the TAIWAN Version SHOULD have "TAIWAN" indicated. And the latest Firmware is 4.00 as here

From what I have seen from other sets,

Indonesia model shows "Nuvi 200 (Indonesia)"
China model shows "Nuvi China 300 (SM)"

this is mine

this is what written on the label at the back of my unit.
Designed in USA
Made in Taiwan
CAN 310

brought it, version is 3.70, dump it and downgrade it to 3.40.

Hi 9W2CBL

I have the exact label as yours (below) but at version 4.20. Tried to downgrade to 3.40 but unsuccessful. hmmm... :hair:

Made in Taiwan

funny! mine and ahbahari version is the same and we purchase from the same dealer and he also manage to downgrade it. make it two of us able to downgrade.

can you do a snap shot of you version of your nuvi for us to have a look at the firmware.

New firmware for nuvi 200 just released. Version 4.30. Changelog as below :

Change History
Changes made from version 4.10 to 4.30:
Improve handling of the situation where overlapping map data is present on the device.
Added additional voice support
