GMXT 42050w can worked with Gold ver 227 but not Gold 228. It was silence all the time beside recalculation. Very tricky on stored maps into the Omnia. I had been struggled for a few night and finally got it to worked. Cheer!

i am really thinking seriously of getting this phone, however I would like to know if Garmin Que v2.90 and GPS Proxy will work with this phone or not ?
How much is the programme for Garmin GMXT? And where do you get it in Singapore? Can you purchase just the programme and with the Garmin 10X?

There are 2 methods of using the Omnia with Mobile XT;
1) You can purchase the software only on-line from TigerGPS.
With this method, you do not need an external GPS. The Omnia already have a build-in GPS.
2) You can download the free software from Garmin and purchase the 10X GPS Sensor.
This method, you'll have to carry 2 pieces of equipment.

I really do not like the Agis, it's very slow.

indeed, i agree that this is an outstanding device, i've seen it on youtube, read some reviews and in fact, i've played around with it yesterday at Samsung retailer.. i'm in love with itRosman wrote: Why?

the headache part is when considering to buy Omnia or HTC Touch Pro (end of this month) or wait for Sony Ericsson Xperia (launch October) ... still headache
but i know i'll buy Omnia eventually.. tangah sudah gatal NDCDB
