already try hard reset.
and did a firmware update.
still the same
does u guys install ce star? and get it work?

and btw which gps s/w u guys using
i try making 2007 and garmin que with gps proxy
but it doesnt work

GPS: Ipaq 612c+ GMXT
My Ipaq 612c running perfectly well with Mapking 2007 and Garmin XT mobile,No problem at all :thumbsup:

i just bought an external for my 612c, it really improve the signal.
the external antenna is very cheap.
for those who having tinted at their windscreen, it is recommended to have external antenna.
it really help to improve the sat signal.
i will post some pic before and after.

Where did you purchase the external GPS sensor? How much is it? :)
I'm using mapking and I realise the signal is quite slow with my HP 612c. When I'm driving, it seems like the GPS has a delay of 1 second...
When I use Gramin que on my HP hw6515 (WM 2003SE), everything was smooth..but this new device slower pulak :(

i just found out that i cant send / received MMS
becos i just swapped a new sim from the 128 to 256
i guess thats my problems started.
last time i used SE phone, now using the Ipaq612c barely 2 weeks ago
i went to Maxis centre yesterday to have the setting set properly
but the personnel there having spent about 20 minutes cannot have it activated.

i guess i have to go there again to request for a new sim change to find the compatible sim like you have mentioned.

after reading your post i realised, its the sim compatibility
that guy said its the Ipaq612, which i doubt
but i dint complain cause i dindnt know until i read.

and i m a first timer here.

CE star is not compatible 612c.
i had install but, it really caused problems in the messaging/sms.
like alphanumerics cannot function at all
cant type anything at all
uninstalled it...and its fine again

which one is more user friendly and better CGI ?

called up 123, sent me settings by email
keyed in the alphanumbers again
( i discovered the guy who did it at Maxis centre got the numbers wrong, thats aall)
and presto....i can MMS now.
simple and easy

Hi,

Need help.. I was installed GARMIN XT to my 612C, it's run and funtionally but dun have any sound (speak).. :cry: How to resolve it?
