240 for crossbarr and 750 for the TWE box.
hehe... big enough to put my 4 childrens inside.
So, how do you find that TWE Ocean 83 in use? Good enough? Or you'd like to upgrade to Thule Pacific 200 or Thule Ranger 90? I had a look at the Pacific 200 just now at Thule Glenmarie office. Would cost RM2800+ though. :-# Will have a look at what's available at Brother's later.

I have a Ranger 90 but it has been in Thule for the last 7 months. The idea is great coz it rolls up when you reach your destination and can be stored in the boot or in the hotel so you can still get into underground carparks.
Problem is the angmohs still haven't figured out how to deal with our heat and humidity. My Ranger was used maybe 3 times in 2 years and when I took it out the last time, the waterproof seals crumbled to bits. Returned it and they said waiting for Sweden to solve the problem and return new unit to me. In the mean time, just have to travel light.

Here's my Thule with 650 liter space, largest in its range back then and longish and lasted almost 9 years!!! Not a leak nor rust (how could it??? ) and robust in more than 1 million kms travel and I gave it away 2 years ago to another fancier friend for the dog shows. I might get another with the "claw" system. One has to treat it well, wash and blow-dry after every use and use silicon gel on any metal parts and it will serve easily for many more years!

so far I just use it once. going back from langkawi with all luggage inside it plus a few boxes from Idaman Suri. satisfied with the material eventhough is not fiberglass. strong enough to hold the luggage.
Only the lock broken due to cheap material. So I drilled 2 hole and tied it with cabletye on the way back.
Now I use a padlock to lock it.More safety.

I thought the ranger 90 will cost only RM1400. I did call the glenmarie office before I bought the TWE. But they said the item has been send back to sweden due to the material is not suitable for malaysian weather.

Bought my Ocean 80 2 years back for RM1,000. It was on offer, not from Thule but from the bicycle shop. Some may have known, to buy from the sole agent/distributor, the price is usually more expensive than buying from other retail outlet, as they have to control the price, etc, etc.

It's now stored under the maid's bed, with the cross bar and foot pack. Lama dah tak pakai, actually only use it for balik Raya, which has been a once a year affair only.

No need to buy la if you gonna use it once in a while.
Anyone wants to borrow, give me a pm.
