Thanks stimix.

I'll add the POIs to the next release and your tracks will help too. Nice 1 sec tracklogs - is it a sirf III based GPS unit?

Looks like the streets around Hanoi on my maps need tweaking and re-aligning!

Yes it is SirfIII based Asus PDA. wth 1s gps proxy...I don't think it's really good esp downtown Hanoi because I was inside Tourist bus all the while. :D ..Yes the highway & certain roads out from downtown Hanoi really needs lotsa realignment... :D

Thanks for confirming that. I have tracklogs of Hanoi myself as well and also to Halong Bay but at the moment caught up with updating Laos (Vientiane) maps. Will get to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City maps later in the year.

Btw, really loved Halong Bay (went for a 2 day/1 night cruise)

Hi guys,

I just thought I might check. I'm using Mapking 2007 on Dopod D810. First time travelling to Hanoi next month, gonna stay in the Old Quarter in Hoan Kiem. Will I be able to get around easily by bike using the map you guys did? Appreciate the hard work done, just want some help with the directions to explore the area and get to some destinations.

Correct, this is a Garmin compatible map only. I have no idea on how to convert it to Mapking.

Shame as I recently incorporated into the map street detail around Hanoi including Old Quarter.
