Yes, but I think for tethered balloons, not flying ones.

See program here:

There were so many kiasu photokakis swarming the balloons that I got turned off. In any case there were many other interesting stuff to capture. Here's my final collection, of Sunday morning. No commentary, so let the pics do the talking themselves. :D

I would have voted this one above the rest among the batch you added to the thread. If only you were able to zoom in further... giving the impression that you were "up there" too!

Try it the next time, looking forward to see your caption... :good: on the opportunity seized... and why bother abt those "KIASus..."... giving you more freedom to wiggle closer right? :-'

Send my son for his karate lesson last saturday and decided to pop over for some hot air balloon photography, but just like bro naim, I got scared just by looking at the pros with their big guns.
So bought H (my other son) something to drink and we sat on the grass from waaaay back. These was what I managed to shoot. It was a hot day, I was sweating and my hands were wet with sweat too.

Decided to leave as it got hotter and at one point, my camera slipped from my grip and accidently took this photo. Sheesh, luckily had the nikon on a strap. :-'
