But he did mention it was okay with the old map. :-k

So Jovially, how was the old map generated? BTW, can't help you much with Jerome's as I'm not familiar with his map.

The so call old maps was the gmapsupp.img provided by Jerome, and i combine this file with MSM 3.04 / 3.05 mapsource self generated img files during installation.
After that I use Gmaptool to combine all the 3 img files.
I used this method each time new map released by Jerome or MSM. until Jerome 3.83 version, then notice the HDB icon missing. but if i use jerome overlay map combine with MSM maps, then if was ok.

Bro dvpro, I can confirm that the latest Jerome's map and even the earlier version (3.82), when combined with MSM v3.04, shows thin roads on the 765. I confirmed with bro silverbeauty and he also faces the same problem with his 765 TW set. I have not tried the Jerome's previous versions though or the Jerome's overlay. Will experiment with it tonight. Another thing to note is that these latest combined maps do not produce thin roads if you used older Nuvi models. I tried it on 660 and 760 and they looked fine.

Bro jovially, I thought you wanted to try to combine both maps using mapsource instead of Gmaptool after you realised that you could do it this way. Have you done that? I have all the while used mapsource to combine both maps and I don't have the problem of missing HDB icons. Perhaps, you should try to combine the maps using mapsource and let us know the result.

Hi bro Redstorm,
yes, using gamaptool was my method to combine maps when there are new maps version released.
I only tried Mapsource as per advise to transfer map when I faced the HDB icon missing in Jerome V3.83 release. and discover the "thin" road.
