GPS: Garmin
I just bought SE C905 last week, and found that wayfinder navigator 7 was a 3 months trial use software. So if i want to use Garmin GPS into my SE C905, may i know which type i should choose and what installation steps i should follow?

I think he does not have a detail map installed.

Hi latiffmuzar, do check under "Tools", 'Manage my data","Mapsets" to see if there is detailed map.

HI , I AM A NEW USER OF GARMIN MOBILE XT ON MY SONY X1 . I HAVE FINISHED INSTALL THE GARMIN PROGRAM IN MY SONY X1 AND THE MAP OF MALAYSIA AS WELL . WHEN I TURN ON MY GARMIN , IT KEEP ON SEARCHING SATELLITE AND SHOW NO MAP ON THE SCREEN .
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME HOW AM I GOING TO INSTALL THE MALAYSIA MAP INTO MY SONY X1 ? THANK YOU VERY MUCH .

The GMXT version you have installed is meant to work with Garmin GPS receiver such as Garmin GPS10x, it will not pair with your phone's built-in GPS receiver. When you have not yet paired it with a GPS receiver, you would not get a GPS fix, and the default location is not anywhere near this region. That's the reason Malaysia map is not viewable. i'm just new here..and just bought SE W995 that had been said have built in aGPS...
but i'm blur about this..can anybody help me in solving these problem?

1-How to upload malsing maps so that i can use it offline? (without using any data connection)
2-Is there any software to be use?

I believe only certain SE models can use GMXT. Pls read this first:

anyway, there is another thing..
my SE preloaded with wayfinder navigator 8.4.31..
is it free to use forever?
can i upload maps provided by malsing here that i can use it offline?

I'm not sure if wayfinder is free to use forever, but the maps here won't work with that software.
