It's advisable to perform hard reset procedure (clear all user data) after firmware update:

Hold your finger on the lower-right corner of Nuvi screen while turning on Nuvi. Keep finger pressed until pop-up window appears. Touch Yes to clear all user data. Please be aware that this procedure will reset CURRENT.GPX as well, so do back up Nuvi:\GPX\CURRENT.GPX before proceeding. And thereafter to restore the data, rename backed up CURRENT.GPX to TEMP.GPX and place it in Nuvi:\GPX folder (same folder as CURRENT.GPX).

They got latest firmware 2.70 and i updated it... the hang issue is gone!!!! Cool!!!

How about the rest of ppl who having hang issue?

u mean hang issue when u select a new destination and press go, it will hang for 3-5 mins before it starts acquiring the satellite signal rite?????

does not work for my nuvi 1460 le.............

Nope, whenever I got satellite already, I choose destination and press go den it will hang forever!!!

Now its ok after updated latest firmware..

Raya Edition was the cgpsmapper compiled MSM map, the release of which coincided with Hari Raya festive season. Hence, the name Raya Edition. The cgpsmapper compiled maps MSM ver 4.xx series is no longer released and it its place is the newly released Garmin compiled MSM ver 5.00 map. Future release will include JCV and LA which can be used on any Garmin device that has JCV and LA features, not just localised versions. You can download the recently released ver 5.00 from here.

For MSM ver 5.00 map, I noticed that the map doesn't display commercial icons when displayed in 2D. Even though when the settings for the Garmin's map detail is set to "Detail", it doesn't help.

Lastly, is it possoble to display commercial icons in 3D, like what they have in Holux?

Nope, I only got 1 map installed and it still hang...

Nope, I waited for 30 minutest still hang... at last fed up...

now updated latest firmware no issue already.
