Not sure if the 760 is able to display junction view or lane assist. At least mine from US is unable to.

Hi Chek, nice to meet you today.

Only localized units can display JCV on NT maps.

It is not implemented yet on the MSM V5.05 ....

Yup, SilverBeauty, nice to meet you too. We forgot to take a few pictures and post them on MSM. It's nice to have a lunch get-together today with Ace, Jaguar, Lost, Taipan, Dynamix at China Square.

We learnt something today - don't anyhow connect LED lights to conventional bulb holders huh, or risk chao tah.... and can be very hot hor.

Cheers.

PS. Must also thank Ace for arranging.

Hi, I have a US version 775T. Also cannot display JCV or Lane Assist. At best only gives turn right or left(or I have yet to see it when I travel from Singapore to KL last week)!

Sighed!

ps - is there any junction that we can test for Lane Assist? By that I mean a junction where the GPS show say you can take 2 lanes out of 4 or 1 lane out of 3? Maybe the Jalan Bangsar S junction? I'm a bit confused as Lane Assist is suppose to be working for all versions, international, local or US!

Just to update all of you, I managed to get MSM NT2011.10 to install on my localized 760 even though its not on the compatability list. I just went into garmin.com.sg and went into mapupdate and then I selected the 3rd option for MSM i.e., the one that includes 1350, 765 etc. Generated a unlock code, ran the program and it installed.

Hi,
I have the same question too. Is it now possible to convert my US Nuvi 760 to use SG/MY firmware to use Junction View? Thanks.

Firmware change is not for the fainthearted and high chances of resulting in a bricked and expensive paperweight.

Sell your 760 in ebay and consider the localized 2465 which is not that expensive for the features available. It has "Superfast" lock-on

Thanks for the reply. Don't think I am able to sell it for much since it's an old model. Would love to try to convert it. Any idea when can I find the required files?

Sorry, you got to google for an answer yourself as modding the set is considered illegal and not sanctioned by Garmin. Also, do so at your own risk. Thanks.
