This is critical info. It means there are 2 lanes here base on what you have quoted. It should have total 4 lanes at this point. For lane info, lane count is usually refer to number of lane

I think this explanation is critical for users to understand.
In Singapore, there are many roads which can mushroom into multiple lanes at crticial junctions.
If I'm not wrong, Redstorm's example is that junction where the 3 lanes AYE branches into a Y-expressway with the middle lane becoming critical at the split as it widen into two lanes at the split and at that point it becomes a 4 lanes expressway with two lanes toward CTE and two lanes towards ECP.
The junction of CTE and PIE at the Whampoa flyover is also critical at the slip road to PIE (to Changi) branches into a two lane ramp which will go to two different directions with the right lane joining PIE and the left lane going to MacPherson Road.
There are many roads which need JCV and lane info as well.....
The slip road from PIE to KPE (ECP) direction is pretty tight and there are times I nearly missed it.
My favourite pet peeve is the Braddel Road junction towards Bishan and Lornie Road just after the Braddel flyover.
Of course after many times of going on unintended sightseeing trips, I have learned the route well.
