Got å china make 4.3 inches screen with car recorder that have gås navigation. However i wonder if i can download maps of S :tq: ingapore and Malaysia. It say google map and com4 sorry i am really new on this. Can anyone help. Thanks.

Our maps here only support Garmin devices ....

GPS: Garmin NUVI 1450
Hi All

I'm new to all this SG maps updates as I was away from SG for 7 years and since now that I'm back for good, I need to have a SG map. I have a few questions that I hope some PROs here can answer for me.

The GARMIN NUVI model that I bought from Taiwan is 1450 which I know is not available in SG and basically it came with the Taiwan NT 2011.40 map.

My Question is:
1) Is there a difference between this 2 latest version of the SG maps, NT 2011.40 (a EXE file which can be downloaded from GARMIN SG) and MSM 2012 NT v5.49 (from here MALSING website) ? Or are they actually the same maps?

2) [a]Is is advisable to install the NT 2011.40 (from GARMIN SG) which is a EXE file and overwrite my current files in my NUVI 1450 which has all the Taiwan maps and settings.

[b]Or just make life a bit easy and just copy the latest MSM 2012 NT v5.49 into the SD card and that will solve my problem.

I just afraid by running the EXE file from the Garmin website will screw up the GPS.

Any kind of reply will be gladly appreciated.

- NT 20xx.xx are the maps compiled by Garmin while NT v5.xx compiled by MSM using Garmin compiler. NT 20xx.xx using 3 months older data. NT 5.xx is compiled weekly thus the map is more up to date

- you can install NT 2011.40 into your device but you won't be able to utilise Junction view image (JCV) just because the map JCV only can be displayed for MY/SG region device market

Unzip map file gmapsupp.img and put into SD card/garmin directory

hi guys,
just wondering that i got a zumo 660. it has got 3d & JCV in the europe maps.
but can i install a local map. as this set is purchase in singapore.
what is the best available maps to download??
