Welcome to MSM Darth Tyranus.

You downloaded the wrong file. The actual file you should download is gmapsupp_v775.zip.

Unzip the file and copy gmapsupp.img into garmin root folder & product.jcv into //garmin/JCV folder. I recommend to use SD Card to avoid messing up GPS internal memory (if unlucky, could brick your unit).

I own a Nuvi 52LM.

My question is, do I select both maps (ie MSM 2017 NT v 7.89 and CN SGMY NT 2017.20 Here)? Or just tick one? My priority is to use the Junction View feature on the map. Thanks for help.

Hi Hotsync,

For routing, you better to tick only one map at one time. MSM 7.89 is updated every 2 weeks which only lack for Highway Mode & low in Junction View image. Other functions like Lane Assist and displaying speed limit on certain road is included.
