Hi! there, just to share with all of you that there is a company selling Nuvi's with extended 3 years warranty. That is a really great offer! Can have peace of mind for 3 years of using it! Selling price is reasonable at normal retail price. I really don't mind paying a little extra rather getting some cheap cheap sets where dunno where the sets come from and after sales service too. Don't you guys thinks that if some good products selling at cheap cheap price got some stories behind it??? Well it is up to your own consideration to buy from who so ever.
Just sharing only.

Errrr......btw, where is this shop located & the name?
Errr......are you the boss of this shop?
Errr.......and how much you selling with the extended 3 years warranty?

Is this warranty by Garmin or the extended warranty supplemented by the shop ie.. somewhat like what Best denki, Harvey Norman, Courts does here in Singapore ?

Nuvi 200 = RM1200
Nuvi 610 = RM2400

3 years local warranty.

I am one of the dealer from the distributor but I am not into GPS sales as I know vendor over here can do better.

For the premium price, you are providing the additional 2yrs warranty ?

I organise the bulk, you guys get cheap price and if got any problem you guys deal directly to the distributor.
They have repair centre and technical support person there.

Some features that would make things easier. What else can you think of?

1. A quick night colour button (the auto feature is good but there ar etimes you want to dim it earlier or when going thru a tunnel)

2. Go Home button should not be embedded in the Favourites, it should be at the top level.

I only hope that the engineers at garmin will read this thread.

Here's my 2cents worth :
1. Include tracking function so that nuvi users can start earning their unlock codes.

2. Have a GSM module embedded into the system so that the nuvi can become a vehicle tracking device.

3. Have better compatability with Garmin Bluecharts e.g. To show spot depths.

4. Include the ability to view videos e.g. 3gp, mp4, wmv etc.

5. Incorporate the peer point function.

Ok the shop which is providing 3 years warranty is in Taman Maluri, Cheras. A friend of mine bought a unit from there and they provide very good after sales service too. The shop name is WNM ESHOP.COM SDN. BHD. (GPS coordinates :N3' 7.628' E101' 43.899') N0.120, Jalan Jejaka, Taman Maluri, Cheras, K.L. Tel No. 03-92819881. So, there is a promotion until 31st Aug 2007 in conjunction with the Merdeka Day celebration. Well i m not the boss lar, you guys who is interested can call them up to enquire about it.
Davis said he is organizing the orders in bulk means that you are importing parrellel products and distributing it to others?? Well as for me it is very risky to buy those sets lar and got problem who should we go to??? Then everybody will push the problem here and there and at the end of the day, we, who bought the sets will suffer. So i still prefer to buy through proper shops like the one mentioned earlier and more secure too. Well becareful when buying cheap cheap price products. I heard that there are even fake one made in China, so be careful!

Aiyo... did I mentioned is local warranty? Of course from WNM*-lah,
THey can't sell you at this price but I can sell you at this price.
Thinking to get 610 for my own use that's why I came out this idea.
