12VDC power cable is down. Anyone can point me to buy a cheap cradle mount and a clear case cover? Thanks.

Hi BernGPS.

Thank you for the recommendation. He's a friendly guy to talk to. I see you are also using the 76CSx. Do you find the unit takes a slightly longer time to acquire satellites when on the move in the car? I am thinking whether to invest in an external antenna. The Gilsson 55db unit looks attractive from Ebay. Performace review seems good.

Your GPS mount is innovative. However, I am unable to do this as I do offroad driving in Johor often, so will need a more solid mounting. I am looking to get a RAM knock off. Still talking to the seller about it.

Thanks for the feedback.

Everything you want less the RAM Mount(which I really don't recommend) can be found here - http://stores.ebay.com/FIS4HER-COM-GPS-Gear

Fast and reliable S&H. Reasonable prices, too. I've been getting stuff from this fellow since my 60C days for myself and work-mates...

For off road, just tie a rubber band round it. Only downside is the power cable. unless you cut a hole at the back. ynot's DIY holder using the phone goose neck and Ferero Roche box cover is inovative.

Yes Daniel sounds a nice guy in the email I had with him 2 years ago.

Is you windscreen tinted? I do find the satellite acquisition a bit slower some times but other times fast also except the first one for the day.

My RM18 phone holder similar to Deani77's is solid as well. Not shaking much during bumpy stretches.
